Why We Use Technology for the Glory of God: The Mission of Matteh Moshe
Digital Age - Digital Tools
In a world shaped by algorithms, screens, and rapidly advancing technology, the question many believers ask is this: Can all this tech be used for good — for God?
At Matteh Moshe, our answer is a bold and resounding yes.
The Call to Equip the Saints Digitally
Matteh Moshe was born from a burden — not just to keep up with culture, but to shape it through obedience to God. In Exodus, the staff of Moses (the matteh) became a symbol of divine power, authority, and obedience. What Moses yielded to God became the instrument through which miracles flowed.
In that same spirit, we see technology as a modern-day staff — a tool that, when surrendered to the Lord, can bring light into darkness, truth into confusion, and hope into places algorithms alone can't reach.
We exist to build, deploy, and disciple using digital tools — not for profit or clout, but for the Kingdom.
What We’re Building
At Matteh Moshe, we’re committed to building tools that do more than function — they minister. Our mission is to encourage believers, equip the Body of Christ, and empower others to create and share Christian tech solutions that serve the Kingdom.
We’re developing:
Apps and digital platforms that strengthen spiritual disciplines like prayer, Bible study, and fellowship — making it easier for believers to stay rooted in faith no matter where they are.
Tools for churches, ministries, and Christian creators to launch their own God-honoring tech — from mobile apps to content platforms — with simplicity and purpose.
Everything we build is aimed at one goal: to help followers of Christ live boldly and build faithfully in the digital world.
Why Tech Matters to the Church
The digital world isn’t the enemy — disconnection from God is. While the internet is often blamed for distraction, addiction, and division, it is also the greatest distribution tool the Church has ever had. With one blog post, livestream, or app launch, we can reach nations.
But to do that well, we must be skilled, surrendered, and strategic.
The Apostle Paul used Roman roads to travel and preach. We use code, design, and search engines. Same Spirit. New roads.
🕊️ God in the Algorithm
We believe:
God can use apps to disciple those who would never step into a church.
God can use digital tools to bring Scripture into everyday life.
God can use platforms to amplify truth, encourage connection, and build His Church — online and offline.
It’s not the tool that matters most. It’s the heart behind the hands that use it.
